Scope and developer

This Privacy Policy applies to the ClearWave: Water Eject app (package com.coglow.watereject), the V2Ray Tunnel app (package com.eco.v2rayandvless), and the EcoGlow website at ecoglow.cc. These products are developed and published by EcoGlow, based in Agadir, Morocco.

EcoGlow’s current apps do not require an EcoGlow account or developer-hosted cloud profile. The apps use Google AdMob to display advertising and help support their free features. AdMob’s data practices are described below.

ClearWave: Water Eject

Information handled

ClearWave does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, precise location, microphone, photographs, or files. It generates and plays sound locally through your device speaker. The app does not listen to or record audio.

On-device information

Selected modes, preferences, and session history may be stored locally on your device so the app can remember your choices. EcoGlow does not receive this information. You can remove it by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.

V2Ray Tunnel

Local profiles and settings

Profile metadata, routing rules, and app settings are stored on your device. Authentication values and optional LAN-sharing passwords use protected system storage where supported. EcoGlow does not operate a cloud profile database and does not receive your tunnel configurations.

VPN traffic

When you start a profile, Android’s VPN service routes traffic according to the rules and server configuration you selected. Traffic is sent to the gateway or service you provide—not to an EcoGlow VPN server. EcoGlow does not provide VPN servers and cannot see the content routed through your chosen gateway.

Camera and clipboard

Camera access is requested only when you choose to scan a configuration QR code. Frames are processed for the scan and are not saved by EcoGlow. Clipboard content is read only after you choose an import action.

Network diagnostics

When you validate, test, or connect a profile, the app contacts the configured gateway and may perform DNS, latency, or public-IP checks needed for the requested feature. Results are presented in the app and are not attached to an EcoGlow account.

Advertising and Google AdMob

EcoGlow uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to request and display ads. Google and participating advertising partners may automatically collect, receive, or share information from your device for advertising, ad delivery, measurement, analytics, security, and fraud prevention.

Advertising data

Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and the SDK configuration, this information may include:

• your IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
• app and ad interactions, such as app launches, impressions, taps, clicks, and video views;
• diagnostic and performance information, such as launch time, crashes, hangs, and energy usage;
• device and account identifiers, including the Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other device-related identifiers; and
• contextual information needed to select, deliver, limit, measure, and protect ads.

Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. EcoGlow may receive aggregated AdMob reports, such as ad impressions, clicks, estimated revenue, device type, and general geographic reporting. These reports are used to operate, measure, and improve the apps and their advertising.

Personalized and non-personalized ads

Where permitted and based on your choices, AdMob may show personalized ads using information about interests or prior activity. Non-personalized ads are based mainly on context, such as the current app content and coarse location. Non-personalized ads may still use cookies, mobile identifiers, or similar technologies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.

Consent and controls

Where required, you may be shown a consent or privacy-options message before eligible advertising data is used. Your available choices depend on your country or region and the app’s configuration. You can manage ad personalization through Google’s Ads Settings. Android also lets you reset or delete the advertising ID through device privacy settings. Withdrawing consent does not necessarily remove all ads; it may result in non-personalized or limited ads.

Website and contact

The EcoGlow website does not offer user accounts, display AdMob ads, or maintain a contact database. If you contact EcoGlow by email or telephone, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, telephone number, message, and any attachments. We use it only to respond, provide support, protect our rights, and meet legal obligations.

Our hosting provider may automatically process basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, requested page, and time of access for delivery, reliability, security, and abuse prevention.

Stores and service providers

Google AdMob acts as an advertising service provider and may work with other advertising partners to fill, deliver, measure, and protect ads. The advertising partners eligible to process data may vary by region, consent selection, ad format, mediation configuration, and availability. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and the consent information presented in the app where applicable.

Google Play and Android system services may process information independently when you download, update, purchase, review, or use an app. EcoGlow may also rely on providers for website hosting and email delivery. EcoGlow does not sell information that you send directly to us, such as support correspondence. Some privacy laws may define certain personalized-advertising disclosures as “sharing” or “targeted advertising”; available opt-out controls are described above.

Retention and deletion

App data stored only on your device remains until you delete it, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer your request, maintain support records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or comply with law.

Advertising information is retained by Google and its partners according to their policies, legal obligations, and product settings. EcoGlow does not control the deletion of data held independently by Google or other ad partners. You can use Google’s privacy controls and your device’s advertising settings to manage relevant identifiers and personalization.

To request deletion of information you sent directly to EcoGlow, email contact@ecoglow.cc. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting on a request.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information EcoGlow controls, to opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, and to complain to a data-protection authority. You may use an in-app privacy-options message when available, Google’s ad controls, and Android’s advertising-ID controls. You can revoke camera or VPN permissions in Android settings, although the related feature will stop working.

Requests about data controlled directly by Google should be made through Google’s privacy tools. Requests about information controlled by EcoGlow may be sent to the privacy contact below.

Security

EcoGlow uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information handled. Google reports that information collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. No device, network, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep profile links, server credentials, and authentication values private, and obtain configurations only from providers you trust.

Children’s privacy

EcoGlow’s apps are general-audience utilities and are not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. EcoGlow does not knowingly use personal information to serve personalized ads to children. If we learn that a child has sent personal information directly to EcoGlow without valid permission, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. Contact us if you believe this has occurred.

International processing and policy changes

Google, advertising partners, and other service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards apply. We may update this policy as our apps, advertising configuration, providers, or applicable laws change. The revised policy will appear here with a new effective date.
